Xbox Games With Gold September 2022 Lineup Announced

Microsoft has revealed the next set of free games as part of the Xbox Games With Gold September 2022 promotion. All four games in the lineup for the month will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, and can be accessed by anyone with a Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. All of these titles will be free of charge during different weeks, with some lasting only two weeks and others lasting for a full month, so we recommend checking out the full schedule of dates below.

Xbox Games With Gold September 2022 list

Here is a short list of the four games available this month (in chronological order), as well as when they will be free and their suggested retail price:

  • Thrillville – September 1 to 15 ($9.99 ERP)
  • Gods Will Fall – September 1 to 30 ($14.99 ERP)
  • Portal 2 – September 16 to 30 ($19.99 ERP)
  • Double Kick Heroes – September 16 to October 15 ($21.99 ERP)

As a reminder, any free games you download during the Xbox Games With Gold promo will remain in your library so long as you retain a membership with Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So even if you aren’t interested in the playing the games now, you might want to redeem them anyway when they’re available.

Out of the bunch, Portal 2 is the most attractive game in the lineup as it remains one of the best sci-fi puzzlers to this day. It’s a fantastic sequel and showcases just how much fun portals can be. Gods Will Fall, as its name suggests, is an action-adventure game where you and your fellow Celtic warriors are on a quest to defeat tyrannical deities. Double Kick Heroes combines rhythm elements with a Gundillac as you defeat zombies and militia on a heavy metal trip. Last but not least, Thrillville tasks you with building your own amusement park that will keep guests happy.

In other news, the restock of The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition will be arriving in just a few days, and Multiversus characters in the near future will likely focus on Warner Bros. IPs like Godzilla.
