Team Dakota, by way of the developer's Facebook page, have announced that the upcoming Project Spark beta for Xbox One has been delayed from its initial launch date of this month to February. So it won't be that much longer before you'll be able to start making a game by using the tools provided via the Xbox controller, keyboard and mouse, Kinect, and SmartGlass.
Microsoft has already sent invites for the Windows 8 beta, which has been active for about a month, and will be sending additional invites to the same users for the Xbox One beta. Even if you gifted your beta key to another person, the devs "have you covered and will be sending everyone a second key when Xbox One beta begins."
Project Spark will not require an Xbox Live Gold membership. There are no plans for an Xbox 360 beta. For more information, you can read our preview of the title.
