Xbox Game Pass September 2022

What Is Leaving Xbox Game Pass in September 2022?

Many games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in September 2022. This time around it’s a batch of eleven titles that will be removed on or around September 15, 2022. The list includes fan favorites and critically-acclaimed indies like An Artful Escape, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and Final Fantasy XIII. Fortunately, as usual you will get a discount of up to 20% off for all games on the leaving soon list below, in case you are in the middle of one of these games and want to continue playing after it’s gone from the subscription service.

Here is a quick list of the games (in chronological order) leaving Xbox Game Pass in the middle of the month:

  • A Plague Tale: Innocence
  • Aragami 2
  • Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling
  • Craftopia
  • Final Fantasy XIII
  • Flynn: Son of Crimson
  • I Am Fish
  • Lost Words: Beyond the Page

  • The Artful Escape

After September 15, Microsoft will reveal additional games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass. At that time, we will update this list so that it’s correct. Other fantastic games like Hades, Myst, Spiritfarer, Two Point Hospital, and What Remains of Edith Finch all left last month on August 31. So with these two huge removals back to back, it’s best to clear your Play Later list on Xbox Game Pass sooner than later.

From this lineup, GameRevolution recommends that you complete the surprise hit A Plague Tale: Innocence if you haven’t already. Not only is it short enough so that you finish it within a few days (and claim all those quick GamerScore points), but the sequel A Plague Tale: Requiem will be arriving soon on Xbox Game Pass too. It’s currently slated to release on October 18, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S and PC and will be available Day One on the subscription service. As reported by our sister site PlayStation Lifestyle, the game will also be adapted into a TV series.

In other news, the Xbox IHOP promo will be adding Forza-inspired Meals to menus like the Forza Family Feast, and Steam has removed Domina after the developer wrote transphobic patch notes.
