Fable Trilogy Reportedly Leaked On Microsoft Store [Update: Microsoft Confirms]

[Update] Microsoft has confirmed the existence of Fable Trilogy, a bundle that includes Fable 2Fable 3, and the upcoming Fable Anniversary. The compilation will launch on February 4th, the same day as Fable Anniversary.

A Microsoft rep provided the following statement to Eurogamer:

The Fable Trilogy bundle in the Xbox Marketplace is real and in development. The bundle will include full Xbox 360 titles for Fable Anniversary, Fable 2, and Fable 3. We're excited to share official details regarding the release soon on Lionhead.com.

You can read up on all of the details of Fable Trilogy at the Xbox Marketplace.

[Original] It looks like Microsoft and Lionhead Studios may be planning to release a compilation that bundles together all three Fable games in what will appropriately be called Fable Trilogy.

A user on NeoGAF stumbled across a listing for the supposed game on the Microsoft Store. Here's a look at the alleged box art.

With Fable Anniversary set to release on February 4th at $39.99, it may be wise to hold off on purchasing the HD remake if a trilogy is on the way that bundles all three games for a better value.

Microsoft has yet to confirm the validity of this report, and we have no word on how the bundle may be priced, so keep it locked to GameRevolution for a forthcoming update.
