At Respawn Entertainment's request, Microsoft will be releasing an upcoming software patch that improve's Xbox One's analog inputs.
This is being done just in time for the launch of Titanfall, the highly-anticipated shooter from the aforementioned developer. Speaking to The Verge, design lead Justin Hendry explained the reason for the change. "It's just fixing the controller input, really. It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it."
Have you found the controls to be a bit "overly twitchy" in other first-person shooters for Xbox One like Call of Duty and Battlefield? Is this update something the FPS fanbase will rally behind? Something tells me the guys at Respawn know what they're talking about.
