Ever since Telltale Games announced that it is working with Gearbox Software to make an adventure series set in the Borderlands universe, details have been scarce regarding this puzzling collaboration… until now.
During a panel at SXSW, as reported by Polygon, Telltale co-founder Kevin Bruner shed some light on both the story and gameplay of Tales From the Borderlands. Shooting will apparently be a large part of the gameplay experience, which may have some concerned, especially when considering Telltale's strengths and obvious weaknesses.
In addition, Bruner confirmed that the narrative will tell two sides of the same story from differing perspectives. It'll then be up to gamers to determine whether Fiona or Rhys is painting an accurate picture of what truly transpired. "You never really play what actually happened, you're playing this Big Fish version of what happened," he explained.
Finally, the game promises to pack plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. But I'm sure you expected that already.
