Here’s What Valve’s Redesigned Steam Controller Looks Like

We knew it was getting an overhaul, and now Valve has finally pulled back the curtain on its retooled controller, designed to work specifically with SteamOS.

As you can see, the touchscreen has been removed and two sets of four face buttons, aligned in a traditional cross-shaped manner, have been added. Aside from that, not a whole lot has changed, as the general form factor appears to be basically the same.

Valve will be showing off working prototypes of the hardware at GDC next week, so stay tuned for all the juicy details.
