Console gamers that owned both a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last generation appear to favor Sony's latest console over Xbox One.
A survey was recently conducted that polled 1,727 consumers in an attempt to gauge where current interest lies in the console gaming space. In general, most individuals have neither next-gen console, with PlayStation 4-only owners claiming the second highest spot.
Interestingly enough, when the results from those who've owned both a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were isolated, it became apparent that the majority of these "dual owners" clearly prefer PS4 over Microsoft's latest gaming machine. As such, it appears Sony has managed to win over "swing gamers" that don't have a particularly strong sense of brand loyalty in either direction.
Why do you think that might be the case? Is the price difference the main factor? The available game libraries? The technological differences?
