Maybe third-party publishers need to pick up Just Dance 2 on the Wii to learn a couple new steps. Because if they could bust-a-move on retail shelves like Just Dance 2, then they'd actually have some strong sales.
Ubisoft has just announced that the Just Dance franchise has reached 14 million units sold, making it the best-selling third-party Wii series ever. It is a rarity, though, as the Wii is notoriously tough for third-party publishers to find success on.
The 14 million units are across Just Dance, Just Dance 2, and Just Dance Kids. Just Dance 2, as you may have noticed in our earlier NPD post, is still among the top 10 titles in June, despite being released last October.
Ubisoft looks to continue this route of success with Just Dance Summer Party, shipping on July 19th, and Just Dance 3 hitting retail this October.
