Magic 2015 – Duels of the Planeswalkers by the ever-prolific Wizards of the Coast is available today for iPad, with releases on other platforms (Steam, X360, XOne, Amazon Kindle, and Android) is just a week on July 16.
Having purchased Magic 2014 for cheap during the Steam Summer Sale and devouring all the AI opponents with the blue-and-black deck Unfinished Business, I'm definitely psyched to confront Garruk Wildspeaker once again in the sequel. Did I not tell you that I'm an old-school Magic: The Gathering fan? Well, now you know one of my darkest secrets.
Building off the booster-pack Sealed Deck mode in Magic 2014, Magic 2015 promises a full deck-building experience that will finally allow players to customize their decks as they see fit. Sarcasm aside, I suppose that's the "next-gen" part of Magic 2015.
The paper Magic 2015 Core Set releases July 18, so Magic 2015 is the perfect opportunity to check out the real-life set before it becomes available.
