Super Meat Boy: Forever, a new entry in the Super Meat Boy franchise, has been announced for Steam, phones, and tablets.
The game will be coming "sometime next year" and isn't a straight port of the hit XBLA title. Instead, Super Meat Boy: Forever is built from the ground up to take advantage of the touch interface found on phones and tablets. It'll feature a full story mode consisting of six chapters, as well as an endless mode with daily run challenges. Oh yeah, and there will be twice as many bosses as there were in the original Super Meat Boy. That enough content for ya?
We enjoyed Super Meat Boy when it launched several years ago on Xbox 360, and it stands to reason this new title will be just as awesome. At least, we really hope that's the case.
