Atlus sent over two new videos in anticipation of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, now available in Japan and headed to Western retailers on November 25th, 2014 though newcomers to the franchise might wonder exactly how this huge cast got assembled in the first place.
The Persona franchise has certainly been expanding exponentially over the past few years as Persona 3 and Persona 4 find new audiences and grow in popularity over the long haul. With word-of-mouth driving the brand's popularity, it'd be hard to turn down the opportunity to delve even further into the mad shadow world.
In the end, I hope the franchise doesn't become a hornet's nest of loose ends and unintuitive plot devices. For example, the Persona 4 team entered the shadow world through the TV so I hope Persona Q provides a compelling reason for the Persona 3 team to explore that universe while also hearkening back to the many floors of Tartarus.
We'll have more on Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth as we near launch though fans will want to check out our upcoming review of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax as well.
