Assassin’s Creed Movie Moves Forward With Michael Fassbender and Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. and Michael Fassbender have reportedly entered talks with production companies behind Ubisoft's planned Assassin's Creed feature film which is currently rumored to focus on the plotlines in Assassin's Creed II.

That game wove players through some Italian twists and turns as Ezio Auditore, with Fassbender currently rumored for the role. Downey will apparently play Ezio's Q-esque gadget guy, Leonardo da Vinci.

The original report was filed at Moviepilot and caught by IGN before it was taken down, so boil all of this with a grain of salt and then strain your pasta just like Mama Auditore taught you.
