It looks like Microsoft may be working on its own streaming service; one that will bring Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles to the PC gaming audience.
According to inside sources that spoke to Neowin, the games would run in users' web browsers, namely Chrome and Internet Explorer. Now, before you roll your eyes, the source also said that the Big M is looking to get the titles to run at a silky smooth 60 frames-per-second. Apparently, the service will be running the Xbox 360 dashboard within the browser to make this all happen.
Mind you, Microsoft has yet to comment on this report, so we'll have to treat is as nothing more than rumor for the time being. That said, the idea of firing up a game like Gears of War 3 or Halo 4 through a browser on my PC does sound quite cool.
