Twitch streamer Amouranth is to make her boxing debut against Spanish streamer Mayichi at La Velada del Ano 3 [The Evening of the Year 3], it has been revealed. They are to fight in the fifth match on the card, joining other content creators and influencers at what should be one of Twitch’s most-watched events of the year, hosted by Ibai Llanos.
Amouranth showed off her boxing ring gear, complete with gloves, in a post on her Twitter account. She riffed on Rocky, calling herself the “new Italian stallion,” and was seen on her Twitch stream stepping into the ring to train for the fight.

Her opponent Mayichi says she is “looking for the KO” in the fight (via SportsKeeda), but wants Amouranth to “go to the maximum” when they meet inside the squared circle. It is currently unclear how many rounds their bout is set for.

Taking place in Madrid, Spain, La Velada del Ano 3 will be livestreamed on July 1, 2023, via Ibai’s Twitch channel. Tickets will also be made available to attend the event in person, and are set to go on sale in April. Last year’s La Velada del Ano saw Ibai break Twitch’s record for most concurrent viewers, bringing in an audience of 3.3 million.
