Right in step with the end of the NFL lockout (finally), the demo for Madden NFL 12 has arrived today on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, featuring a rematch between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears at Soldier Field from last year's 2011 NFC Championship.
Players have access to five-minute quarters, four difficulty levels, and Conventional or GameFlow playcalling, as well as a taste of Dynamic Player Performance, which as Jessica Vazquez describes in her preview, essentially gives all players emotions variable swings in concentration. The roster for the demo is of last year's but will be changed by the final retail package, to be released August 30th.
Fans with an EA SPORTS Season Ticket, though, won't have to wait that long and can download the entire game beginning August 26th at 6pm EDT. They will be allowed up to three full days of play, with the effective roster changes, before the in-store date. The digital download times out at 6am EDT on August 30th. The EA Sports Season Ticket is available via Xbox LIVE for 2000 MS Points and the PlayStation Store for $24.99.
