Once upon a time, Atlus made an RPG called Persona 2 and it was apparently so awesome, so cool, so…profitable, that it had to be split into two parts. These were called Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, the latter of which would make it into international territories, while the former remained in Japanese obscurity for a decade. Modern handhelds being a popular place to remake old favorites, Atlus once again hit up the Persona series, with a remake of the original Persona as well as a slimmed-down version of Persona 3. Next up is Persona 2's turn, with the game on Japanese shelves already and headed for North America on September 20th. Recently, UK-based game publisher Ghostlight announced that PAL territories will not be left behind.
The company will be slapping together a special collector's edition to with the game, and while no specific date has been announced, Ghostlight wants to get the bundle into shops by the end of this year.
