Last week we discussed why Valve isn’t firing out as many games these days, with the developer taking a far more laid-back approach to game development following the incredible success of Steam. With 2013’s Dota 2 being the last major release from the company, and the company’s upcoming CCG Artifact not exactly setting the world alight upon its announcement, many are wondering when / if we’ll ever see them return to some of the franchises that laid out the foundations of their success.
This month we’ve already seen a former Half-Life writer seemingly reveal the intended plan for Half-Life 2: Episode 3, the closest thing to closure Half-Life fans have received thus far. However, with Valve busy working on Steam, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, it seems that they haven’t laid out the time to make a return to some of their older properties, and we want to know which old Valve series YOU want to see revived.
