Assassin’s Creed Odyssey reviews have gone live, including GameRevolution’s own. We liked it a reasonable amount, with its ancient Greece setting proving to be a memorable location that our reviewer had a lot of fun exploring. However, with Ubisoft now having explored a whole bunch of different settings and time period, where’s left for the team to tackle?
Assassin’s Creed‘s location is always the star of the show, no matter where its story goes. Allowing players to jump through time, Ubisoft’s open-world franchise has transported us aboard pirate ships in the Caribbean, the industrious Victorian-era London, and ancient Egypt in Assassin’s Creed Origins. Of course, there’s still plenty of history for Ubisoft to explore, though it already feels like the developer has nailed many of the most popular eras.
So where’s left for Ubisoft to take us to? Should Assassin’s Creed‘s creators stop looking towards their realistic take on ancient history and instead go for a more mythological, God of War spin? Or are there more ancient locations you wish they’d visit? As always, let us know in the comments below!
