Game Revolution is and always will be a gaming site, and this isn’t going to change. But as we’ve been reminded several times over this year, the world is much, much bigger than video games. We’re always proud to stand up for what we believe in, and we believe that we should use the platform we have to unequivocally stand up against racism.
Last week, George Floyd was killed while detained in police custody. Since then, civil unrest has spread across the US and has made its way into other countries such as the UK and New Zealand. Game Revolution’s international team is horrified by the events that have unfolded, whether we have watched them being carried out on our doorstep, or have watched them on the news and on social media.
Game Revolution will continue to welcome an audience of any color, gender, and sexual orientation, and encourages our audience to embrace the diversity of the human experience. We must all gather the courage to stand alongside communities that continue to face adversity.
