Absolute Supercar Preview

That car has heart.

Racing fans, the holiday season is upon us. With all the big name titles releasing, it’s time to get that checklist out. The new Need for Speed of course is going to be a hot seller. But maybe your wallet is a little tight right now or you just want to save that extra buck. Well, don’t sweat it because Absolute Supercar is here to help satisfy your every racing need.

Who says you can’t have quality on a low budget? Absolute Supercar is showing off some of the top supercar models from around the world. You can blaze through many super tracks some authentic to the game, others inspired from actual courses, such as Silver Stone and Infineon. It’s quite impressive how many features and options there are in this racing simulation.

Not only are cars and tracks well-done, but the gameplay is smooth and realistic. Turning on a dynamic racer setting allows the computer to maneuver and race to your specific style and ability. This feature is much like its supercar simulation predecessor, F1 2011. Also, similar to F1, suggested line is available for added help to whoever may need or want it.

Exclusively for the PlayStation 3, it’s not the flashiest racing title on the block but it has some spark. To keep up with what is on demand, online capabilities, of course, are available. You can play with up to 16 players and test out the competition from all over. Don’t forget to customize the cars; it’s easy and allows everyone to stand out. Pimp out your whip with all kind of cosmetic trinkets then hit the tracks!

With car and race track licensing, over 40 supercars, and an intelligent computer system, Absolute Supercar is a bit of a steal. For a penny less than 10 bucks, bargain shoppers might want to give this one a try. No word of an exact date, but be ready to purchase a copy sometime this December.
