Star Wars Battlefront 2‘s voice actress Janina Gavankar has teased a major new Blizzard announcement, revealing that her fans “wouldn’t believe” the work she’s been doing with the Overwatch developer.
Gavankar, who will portray Iden Versio in Star Wars Battlefront 2‘s story campaign, made the mysterious admission on Twitter, suggesting that she will be taking on a big role in a Blizzard game:

The most obvious role for Gavankar would be in Overwatch, where she could be taking on voice acting duties for a new character. However, this week Blizzard also posted a job listing for an “unannounced project” that requires “knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe,” so her suggestion that her followers “wouldn’t believe” what she’s working on could well mean that she’s involved in something a lot more secretive.

Janina Gavankar has already proven to be a big hit with the gaming community, with the reaction to her appearance during the EA Play press conference at E3 2017 hinting towards her becoming a notable personality in the industry. Judging from her comments, it seems like she’s set to complement her star role in Star Wars Battlefront 2 with another big hit, though we might have to wait until Blizzcon 2017 next month to find out what she’s got up her sleeve.
