What’s better than one Mega Man game? How about all 10? Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 offers just that, and it’s coming soon to Nintendo Switch.
Collecting Mega Man Legacy Collection 1’s first six games, plus Mega Man 7 through 10 for latter-day fans of Mega Man, the stacked collection releases on May 22.
The Blue Bomber is no stranger to a Nintendo console but, for those of you (like me!) who haven’t got ‘round to playing every game in the series, or just want to re-live the good ol’ (and new) days, Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 will surely cater to every need. It’s even come with a few nifty upgrades.
Fed up of dying on the same spikes time after time? As revealed by the Capcom Unity blog, the rewind feature, if not one for purists, will be a godsend for those who want to enjoy the 10 adventures without throwing their entire console through the nearest window.
For those who consider themselves Mega Man aficionados, you’ll be pleased to know Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 comes with a bevvy of bonus features, including concept art, songs and even 11 unlockable challenges if you’re lucky enough to own the golden Mega Man amiibo.
If you’re still on the shelf, gorge yourself on the trailer (which you can see below). It’s full to the brim with gameplay, from the infuriating Mega Man 2 all the way through to the more recent efforts of Mega Man 9 and 10. Every entry is sure to make your heart swell from all of the excess nostalgia.
All of this is in preparation for Mega Man 11’s release in late 2018. So, steady those fingers, wipe that brow and, remember, the rewind feature is your friend (for now).
