Kingdom Come Deliverance has managed to impress a huge number of gamers, achieving a new record all-time peak concurrent player count on Sunday. Steam Charts tracked 95,863 players all playing the game, at the same time.
When looking at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s all-time total concurrent player count peak via Steam Charts, we can see that it peaked at 92,268 concurrent players. Yes, Kingdom Come managed to beat The Witcher 3… on Steam, at least!
Of course, The Witcher 3 was also available to purchase through GOG Galaxy, which some players prefer due to the lack of aggressive DRM. Steam Charts only tracks players on Steam, and so the 92,268 figure doesn’t represent the entire player base.
With that said, I still think it’s impressive that Kingdom Come Deliverance beat The Witcher 3 on Steam. Other games it beat include: Football Manager 2018, Rust, Slay the Spire, Garry’s Mod, Dead by Daylight, Sid Meier’s Civilization V, Human: Fall Flat, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Arma 3, Paladins, Black Desert Online, Dying Light.
Then there’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (the non-Special Edition version) which peaked at 90,780 concurrent players. Kingdom Come Deliverance‘s 95,863 beats even Skyrim!
