Call of Duty WW2 1.11 Update: How to Kill a Leprechaun in Operation: Shamrock & Awe St. Patricks Day Patch for COD WW2

Call of Duty WW2 Operation: Shamrock & Awe comes in the game’s update 1.11, and yes, you will get to learn how to kill a leprechaun. Call of Duty 1.11 brings a ton of new stuff to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day including new weapons, maps, and modes for multiplayer and Nazi Zombies. Find out everything added in Call of Duty 1.11 update below.

CoD WW2 1.11 Update: How to Kill a Leprechaun

One of the more unique updates to come with the Shamrock & Awe update is the Leprechaun Hunt Moshpit. This new playlist switches between Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint, and Team Deathmatch games and adds a fun St. Patrick’s Day twist to them. In each match, there will be a leprechaun hidden somewhere in the map. If you kill the leprechaun, you’ll instantly be rewarded all of your scorestreaks, which can turn the tide of a match.

Learning how to kill a leprechaun in Call of Duty WW2 is the trick though. These little guys are fast, and you’ll have to wallop them to take them out. Using the Airborne Division is your best chance for chasing the tiny creature down.

From March 16 until March 19 the Leprechaun Hunt Moshpit will also payout double XP, so hit it up during that time to level up fast.

Call of Duty WW2 1.11 Update: New Weapons and New Map

The Call of Duty WW2 Operation: Shamrock and Awe update also brings two new weapons and a new map to the game. The new French-made M-38 Submachine Gun has a large magazine and the fastest aim down sight in its weapons class. The MG-81 Light Machine Gun was first mounted in Luftwaffe aircraft but rips up soldiers on the ground as well. The MG-81 is belt-fed so expect a large magazine and a slow reload time.

The new map is called Shipment 1944 and is a small map that encourages fast-paced fighting with plenty of explosives. There’s nowhere to hide here, so get ready for grenades and rockets to rain down.

Shipment 1944 will come out in early access for Season Pass holders on March 13, and all players will get the map on March 16. Additionally, it will permanently join the lineup after the Operation: Shamrock and Awe event is over so you’ll get to enjoy it for the foreseeable future.

There are of course also new weapons variants, helmets, camos, uniforms, and weapons charms to collect.
