Rockstar Games has just dropped the Red Dead Redemption 2 launch trailer, following a tease on Twitter. This trailer reveals what players can expect to get up to in Red Dead Redemption 2 when the game launches later this month on October 26 for PS4 and Xbox One. (No, there’s sadly still no update on the PC version!)
You can check out the trailer below, which gives players their final look at the outlaws before their big adventure. It’s an intense video filled with gunfire, train robberies, and epic horse riding. Oh and John Marston appears to feature again, too! Though it’s only a minute in length, Rockstar has managed to squeeze a lot of action in.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Launch Trailer
The long-anticipated sequel to Rockstar’s critically-acclaimed Red Dead Redemption was hit with heavy delays twice during its development process. Now, with just over a week to go before launch, it seems that the game fans have been asking for since way back in 2010 is finally just around the corner. The above trailer confirms that the game is ready to launch and is on schedule to be released next Friday.
Although fans may be incredibly excited for next Friday’s launch, it’s important to note that the game will require over 100 GB of space on PS4 and almost as much on Xbox One. The difference in size is likely attributed to the PS4-exclusive content that was recently announced by Rockstar.
With that being said, players will need to wait quite a while for their two-disc game to install. In order to avoid this, you can check out our Red Dead Redemption 2 pre-load guide, which will help you to start playing as soon as possible on October 26. By pre-loading Red Dead Redemption 2, you can eliminate any unnecessary time waiting to play post-launch.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches next Friday, October 26, and will be available for PS4 and Xbox One.
