The Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Winds of Magic release date was just revealed by developer Fatshark. The first expansion for the multimillion-selling Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be released in a week, on August 13. You can pre-order it right now on Steam for $19,99 in order to get instant access to the beta, which runs up to the release day.
The highlight of the Winds of Magic expansion is the new Beastmen enemy faction. Rising from the depths of the Reikwald forest after a meteor crash, these horrid amalgams of human and beast take the best of each race, possessing the intelligence of man and the wit of wild animals. They show no compassion and are fully committed to their destructive nature and profound desire for bloody carnage.

Winds of Magic raises the level cap from level 30 to level 35, adding new talents in the process. You also get a new Winds of Magic specific progression system and witness the return of the Cataclysm difficulty mode, even harder than before. The new adventure level Dark Omens pits you and your friends against the Beastmen. Each one of the heroes gets a new weapon: Kerillian uses a traditional shield and spear; Bardin showcases a new set of throwing axes; Kruber has a fancy new heavy spear; Sienna impresses with a flaming flail and Saltzpyre goes for the billhook.
The new Winds of Magic game mode offers assorted challenges of increasing difficulty, resulting in a combination of map, wind, objective, finale, and difficulty. These variables ensure that the challenges will always feel new and exciting.
Besides the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Winds of Magic release date, we also got a new trailer showcasing the strengths of this brutal and bloody first-person co-op action game. The aggressive and relentless Beastmen are impressive foes, resorting to their animal-like abilities to quickly prey on you.
