Toys for Bob have confirmed they’re working on a new game and many are assuming it to be the much-rumored Wumpa League game that supposedly takes the form of a 4v4 Crash Bash. Whilst the Crash Bandicoot fighting game seems the most likely, others are hoping we’ll finally get to see Spyro 4 instead.
What is Toys for Bob working on?
Thanks for playing along, how many did you guess correctly? Ya know, it's pretty convenient we have more wall space to cover… 😉 pic.twitter.com/g4A5hkAHk3

The last we heard from Toys for Bob, they’d been brought in to help Call of Duty: Vanguard get out of the door and with creating Call of Duty: Warzone content. Evidence of a non-Call of Duty project came via job listings back in December, but the developer has now confirmed they are working on a new game, They also failed to give any hints as to what it could be.
Previous rumors have suggested there is a Crash Bandicoot multiplayer game in development at Toys for Bob that will be very similar to a 4v4 Crash Bash, and this is believed to be the Wumpa League game that was expected to be revealed during a summer event. The Crash Bandicoot multiplayer game was reportedly in internal testing back in June and included 10 characters such as Crash, Dingodile, and Ripper Roo.
Others are hoping for a revival of Spyro as it has been four years since we last saw the purple dragon and his pals in the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Right now, the closest players can get to Spyro 4 is a fan-made game called Spyro 4: Blaze of Glory that can be found in Dreams but a revival would surely be one of the biggest announcements of this year. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
In other news, Telltale Games’ The Expanse will be making an appearance at Gamescom where we’ll get a first look at gameplay. Elsewhere, a Spider-Man Remastered PC mod that removed pride flags within the game has caused controversy.
