Bad news for the PC porters out there: there will be a Death Stranding PC release date delay. While seeing the Death Stranding PC version pushed back a few weeks might be disappointing to some, it’s certainly an understandable (albeit unfortunate) consequence of Kojima Productions having to work from home.
The delay is a result of Kojima Productions instituting a work-from-home policy as its offices have been shut down. This brings some new challenges with it, and it seems that KojiPro is having some issues with getting the game ready on time. As such, it has had to push the PC launch of the game several weeks past its originally-intended release date of June 2, 2020.

When is the Death Standing PC release date delay?
The new Death Stranding release date for PC is July 14, 2020. While this delay is unfortunate, it’s certainly understandable considering Kojima Productions’ new work-from-home challenges. For now, you can put in a pre-purchase or add Death Stranding to your wishlist on Steam.
Following the temporary closure of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, we have had to delay the PC launch of DEATH STRANDING to July 14, 2020, to allow more development time amidst the current work-from-home orders in place.
