The Mortal Kombat 11 1.23 update patch notes don’t radically change the game. In fact, they hardly change the game at all. But they do add some new skins to the game, which players will be able to buy or earn in the near future. It also contains some files that won’t be in the game for quite some time if this new very convincing and probably true datamine is to be believed.
Mortal Kombat 11 1.23 Update Patch Notes | New skins
This update has some more files pointing to the next season of the Kombat League focused on the Zaterrans (or Saurians), the reptilian race that Reptile is a part of. Those skins have already been revealed but this looks to add more support for it by implementing the Kombat Kards. That season should be starting on October 20 after this current bug-filled season is over with.
But, more immediately, this update puts the third and final Aftermath skin pack into the game. This All Hallow’s Eve skin pack contains spooky gear and skins for Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, and D’Vorah. You will just have to buy them first in order to use them.
This is also all the game says is in the patch. There are no other listed changes concerning balance or anything else. Again, this is just what NetherRealm is telling us because it is unlikely it would spill the beans on the aforementioned datamine that points to the new characters and other content. The game is likely on the verge of another big content drop so look forward to these future patch notes being a bit more exciting.
