Immortals Fenyx Rising | How to get golden amber

Immortals Fenyx Rising | How to get golden amber

Golden amber in Immortals Fenyx Rising may not seem like much, but it ends up being one of the more rare resources in the game. Instead of being used to upgrade weapons and gear, it is used for upgrading potions and getting the “Potion Professional” trophy or achievement. It takes an obscenely large amount of golden amber to level up everything, making it one of the resources players should focus on. Here’s how to get a lot of golden amber in Immortals to use for potion upgrades.

Best ways to get golden amber in Immortals Fenyx Rising

Opening regular chests

Immortals Fenyx Rising | How to get golden amber

The best and fastest way to get golden amber in Immortals is to open regular chests. The other types of chest don’t yield golden amber. These are just called “chests” in the game’s legend. Epic, guarded, and night chests don’t yield golden amber at all.

There are plenty of these around the map so be sure to get as many as possible. They each have three golden amber inside and aren’t usually that tough to get, making them the fastest way to get golden amber.

Chopping down glowing trees

This is a slower way to get golden amber but it is a way players should keep an eye out for. Some trees have glowing particles near their base. These mean they have golden amber inside of them.

Cut them down to get the nice sweet golden amber. Again, this shouldn’t be the way to get golden amber — even if players go to Clashing Rocks and cut down the many trees there — but it is a good way to steadily get some along the way as players go from task to task.

Doing tasks for Heroic Tasks for Hermes

How to get golden amber in Immortals Fenyx Rising

Speaking of tasks, doing Heroic Tasks for Hermes can sometimes yield golden amber. These missions don’t yield much, but players can get a few more pieces here and there as they finish missions. Just be sure to turn these missions back in at the task board in the Hall of the Gods. And although it has to do with Hermes, these tasks don’t yield elektrum as well.
