Call of Duty Vanguard free-to-play

Is Call of Duty: Vanguard free-to-play?

Is the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard free-to-play? The previous game in the series Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play multiplayer title, and Vanguard’s fellow big FPS release for this year Halo: Infinite is making its multiplayer side free. Is there any chance of a Call of Duty: Vanguard F2P option, perhaps even if it’s just the multiplayer modes? Here’s everything to know about Call of Duty: Vanguard and free-to-play.

Will Call of Duty: Vanguard be free-to-play?

Call of Duty Vanguard free-to-play

Call of Duty: Vanguard is likely to have multiple free-to-play weekends, not to mention the current free open betas which will run up to the game’s full November release.

Unfortunately, apart from these options Call of Duty: Vanguard will be a full paid title like Black Ops Cold War, WWII, etc. Anyone wanting to play the specific Vanguard multiplayer with the new expanded Zombies mode and improved Clans system, not to mention the return of the proper single-player story campaign, will have to pay full price.

However, Call of Duty: Warzone will not be shutting down, and the free-to-play Call of Duty game will likely be expanding with the release of Vanguard. Black Ops Cold War has always been tied closely with Warzone, are already reports of a new World War Two-themed map coming to the game, so it’s likely the collaboration will continue. Furthermore, the next Call of Duty: Vanguard open beta will take place on September 16 and will be completely free, so it’s the best bet for anyone wanting to try Vanguard before it launches.

Here’s everything there is to know about Call of Duty: Vanguard’s cast of eclectic characters, most of which will be playable in multiplayer. As for Warzone, it still continues to get support, with Season 5 still ongoing for now and its most recent update added a cool unlockable Judge Dredd skin.
