Call of Duty: Vanguard is continuing the trend from the last few games of featuring named operators in multiplayer. These characters carry over from the game’s campaign and represent the character’s avatar during multiplayer matches. We’ve got a whole new cast, and players can check out the list below to see who they may want to use.
Who are the new operators in Call of Duty: Vanguard

In addition to the above characters, we’ll likely see Solange, a Dutch-Aruban soldier, as an operator in multiplayer as well. However, she’s only been confirmed to be in the campaign so far.
Each character will feature customization options in the form of skins that players can earn. In addition to the standard packs that can be earned in-game or bought from the store with COD Points, operators will have their own progression tree that can be leveled up by playing as them. Rewards from operator progression will unlock new, character-specific cosmetics.
There’s no word yet on whether Call of Duty: Vanguard will stay grounded in World War II-era aesthetics or if it’ll go off the rails like it has the past few games. Because of this, it’s hard to envision what each character’s skins and cosmetics will look like. They could be uniforms that reflect their respective affiliations or crazy anime stuff. We’ll know more as we move closer to the game’s November launch.
