Yes, if Das Haus looks familiar, there’s good reason. It’s an in-universe mockup of the White House layout, complete with American flags and its very own West Wing.
This multiplayer map doesn’t feature in the campaign. As a result, there isn’t too much background information or context about the map. However, the Das Haus description does partly explain its similarities to the White House. According to in-game files, it’s there to help German special forces “train for an overseas invasion of the White House.”
As such, the similarities to the White House make an awful lot of sense. Of course, it’s a less polished version of the White House, with exposed walls, damp floors, and a general lack of care.
