Farming Sim 22 is incredibly popular on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Google Stadia right now. As a result, many players are wondering if they can play the game on Switch as well. So, is Farming Simulator 22 coming to Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED model? Here’s the lowdown on FS22 going handheld with a portable port.
Is there a Farming Simulator 22 Nintendo Switch version release date?
Farming Simulator 22 is available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Mac, and Stadia as of its November 22, 2021 launch. There is no Farming Sim 2022 (FS22) release date for Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED model.
The series’ previous installment, Farming Simulator 21, never made its way to Nintendo Switch. As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising if developer GIANTS Software doesn’t release an FS22 Switch port in the future. Farming Sim 20 came out on Nintendo’s hybrid handheld platform, though presumably failed to perform well enough to ensure continuing support for the portable format.
There are no public plans relating to the launch of a Farming Sim 22 Nintendo Switch version. Since the existing versions of the game are performing well, however, there is a possibility that the dev team will greenlight an eventual port. Of course, it’s only possible to speculate on that in the absence of any official confirmation.
Since FS22 is available on a variety of different platforms, many players will, fortunately, be able to accommodate playing elsewhere. If that’s the case, be sure to get the need-to-know info on crossplay and what to do if the ModHub isn’t working. Additionally, find out the best seasonal crops and how to manage grass.
In other Nintendo Switch news, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl feature a potentially devastating glitch alongside a helpful bug. As is the case with many things in life, Pokemon BDSP players must take the rough with the smooth.
