Wave 2 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC has been revealed and it will be adding eight tracks as part of two tournaments, with many excited for the addition of Waluigi Pinball and a completely new track. The next wave of tracks will arrive on Nintendo Switch next week, both for those who have purchased the Booster Course DLC and those accessing the DLC through Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
The tracks included in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 2 DLC
The eight tracks coming with the Booster Course Pass Wave 2 DLC include a brand new track and a selection of tracks remastered from previous games, such as Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart DS. The first tournament is the Turnip Cup, which will include the following four tracks:
- New York Minute (from Mario Kart Tour)
- Mario Circuit 3 (from Super Mario Kart)
- Kalimari Desert (from Mario Kart 64)
- Waluigi Pinball (from Mario Kart DS)
The second tournament will be the Propellor Cup, which will include the following four tracks:
- Sydney Sprint (from Mario Kart Tour)
- Mushroom Gorge (from Mario Kart Wii)
- Snow Land (from Mario Kart Super Circuit)
- Sky-High Sundae (new track)
The release date for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave 2 is August 4. The tracks will be available at no extra charge for all Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, or the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC can be purchased at a price of $24.99. The Pass includes a total of 48 tracks, with four more waves due to be released before the end of 2023.
In other news, the GTA 6 map will be set in Vice City and its surrounding area, although the size of the map has been reduced to avoid crunch. Elsewhere, the Pokemon Go Hisuian Discoveries Event Ultra Unlock bonuses are active now and last until August 2.
