The Hisuian Discoveries Event is running today in Pokemon Go, and thanks to the performance of players at last weekend’s Seattle Go Fest meetup, the Ultra Unlock bonuses are now active. More Pokémon will be making an appearance in the wild, while there are friendship level increases and gift bonuses too.
Pokemon Go Hisuian Discoveries Event Ultra Unlock Bonuses
The Pokemon Go Hisuian Discoveries Event now has several Ultra Unlock bonuses. Unown S and Panpour will be appearing in raids, while Panpur will also be appearing in the wild. Both may have shiny variants making an appearance. Friendship levels will increase faster when players open gifts, trade Pokémon, or take part in battles in raids, Gyms, or Trainer Battles. Trainers can open up to 45 gifts per day, while they can send up to 150 gifts per day. If they exceed the number of gifts they can open, up to 30 gifts can be stored until the end of the event at 8 pm local time on August 2.
Between 11 am and 2 pm on July 31, there will be a bonus Hisuian Discoveries Raid Day. Hisuian Braviary and Shiny Hisuian Braviary will make their debut in raids, while there’s an increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from in-person Raid Battles. Those who spin Gym Photo Discs between 11 am and 4 pm on event day can receive up to five free Raid Passes, and there’s a 50% XP bonus for winning Raid Battles.
