The Tales of the Walking Dead release date for season 1 episode 2 is August 21 at 9 PM ET on AMC. Subscribers to AMC+ are able to watch episode 2 early, which is available on the streaming platform now. Episodes 3-6 will also be available weekly, as the rest of the season drops with a traditional schedule. Early access on AMC+ starts at 3 am ET.
When the rest of the world will be able to watch Tales of the Walking Dead remains to be seen. Those in the UK are able to watch original series The Walking Dead on Disney Plus under the Star banner, but no news on whether or not Tales of the Walking Dead will follow has yet been announced.
What is Tales of the Walking Dead season 1 episode 2 about?
Tales of the Walking Dead episode 2 is called ‘Blair/Gina’ and takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, back in 2010, during the “onslaught of the apocalypse”. Stars Posey and Bell take on the roles of “two co-workers who despise each other”, but must work together to survive and inevitably go on to “question whom they want to be at the end of the world.”
Though there’s not often a lot of fun to be had in the world of The Walking Dead, this could be an experimental and perhaps even light-hearted episode. Buddy comedies, where the two leads don’t get along, are a dime a dozen. Taking that idea and putting it into this deadly world may be a genius idea.
In other news, the Walking Dead movie has been canceled in favor of a limited series with Rick and Michonne, while fans wonder if Maggie dies in The Walking Dead season 11.
