iOS gamers concerned with peace in the middle east should check out Bolt Riley – A Reggae Adventure Game from developers located in Tel-Aviv, Israel. The title features 2D point and click mechanics that draw players through 1970's Jamaica and into the shoes of a famous Reggae musician.
In a press release, Adventure Mob's CEO Oded Sharon said "In this harsh time of war in Israel, I decided to focus on creating a positive game experience and bring joy to our audience and Bolt Riley does that with a story of peace, love, and of friendship."
Bolt Riley loves music and eventually discovers inspiration to write songs with a group. Riley will have to contend with gang members, but the town and families in Riley's community hope to push peace and keep it in motion.
That means the developers need to push funding too. "We've decided to experiment with crowdfunding with this short campaign," Sharon said. The team at Adventure Mob have already achieved 30% of their total after one day.
Sharon was quick to stress the multicultural background of the team making this interactive message of a global community. The development talent include individuals from "all sexes, races, nationalities, and religions working together on the game."
"When considering people for work, we always think it's important to focus on talent and capabilities rather than anything irrelevant to game development," Sharon said. For more on the game, visit adventuremob.com.
