AC Mirage Holy Hoard Enigma: How to Find the Red X on the Map

The Assassin’s Creed Mirage Holy Hoard enigma is a crudely drawn map, one that is even more roughly drawn than some of the other enigma maps. It has got a tree and some buildings, but not much else. Here’s how to solve the AC Mirage Holy Hoard enigma and how to find the red X.

To solve the Holy Hoard enigma in AC Mirage, you will first have to find the scroll with the map on it. To find it, go to the eastern side of the map outside of The Round City. Go just south of the Khurasan Gate Guardhouse and you will see a golden book icon somewhat near the Prince’s Gate. This scroll does not take some complex puzzle to pick up, as it is just inside of a house on the bottom floor.

Once you pick up the scroll, you will see the above map. And while vague, as previously mentioned, it does have a few key signifiers. There is some sort of holy building with a cross on it, trees, and, most importantly, water on the right. This tells you that this treasure is likely somewhere on the eastern side of the map.

Looking at the map, there is only one place that matches this description: the Nestorian Monastery in the upper east side of the map in Harbiyah. The monastery means it is a Christian-focused area, which is where the cross hint comes into play. It is also near the water.

Go to the above spot on the map and you will see a tree with a glowing spot near it. Dig up at the glowing spot and you will get your Holy Hoard prize: the Tan Abbasid Knight dye scheme. This will, as the name implies, be a tan color for the Abbasid Knight costume.
