CoD WW2 is getting some new supply drops in an upcoming update. Today we learned of the existence of Epic, Legendary, and Weapon Supply Drops, which will likely be implemented with CoD Points. These new loot boxes will probably join the existing regular Supply Drops, and Rare Supply Drops at a higher price bracket.
Likely, you will only be able to get the higher level loot crates through microtransactions, while regular players will have to stick with lower tier ones. We’ll take a look below at what may be inside these new loot boxes in Call of Duty WW2.
What’s in Epic Supply Drops in Call of Duty WW2?
I’m gonna take a wild leap and say that Epic Supply Drops more than likely guarantee a player at least one Epic or better rarity item. It’s expected that the total of three items per loot box drop will remain the same, though higher tier loot boxes could feasibly drop more items.

I’ve had pretty decent luck with standard Supply Drops giving Epic items, and once I even got two Epic items from one, so it remains to be seen if lower tier loot boxes will have their rarity drop rates changed to steer people to buy loot crates with CoD Points.
What’s in Legendary Supply Drops in Call of Duty WW2?
CoD WW2 Legendary Supply Drops will probably be one tier beneath Epic Supply Drops and one level above Rare Supply Drops. Opening one of these will likely give you at least one Legendary rarity or better item. They’ll probably cost less CoD Points than Epic Supply Drops as well, so its possible if the drop rates are good these might be a better bang for your buck.
What’s in Weapon Supply Drops in Call of Duty WW2?
Since Call of Duty WW2 is likely getting more weapons soon. It already has a pretty good selection, all with alternate skins to collect. A Weapon Supply Drop will probably contain cosmetics for weapons, like other variants, and pistol grips. There’s also a custom paint system being added for players to tweak their guns so perhaps you’ll have to get paint from Weapon Supply Drops to make your own designs.
We’ll likely know exactly what these crates cost and what they drop very soon. CoD Points will be in the game starting tomorrow, and that means Supply Drops, likely these will be available for purchase.
