Once you’ve completed the Curse of Osiris campaign in Destiny 2, you’ll doing the endgame content including the new Lost Prophecies. These sort of bounties are quests that you can complete in order to earn legendary weapons with the limit of one quest per week. Lost Prophecies will have you finding specific items, the rarest and most important of which is Fossilized Hermaion Blossom.
The Fossilized Hermaion Blossom Destiny 2 offering item is needed in crafting four of the 11 Lost Prophecies weapons, requiring you to collect a total 0f seven Fossilized Hermaion Blossoms. As such, it is important that you know how to get it. Thankfully, we’ve already beaten (and reviewed) Curse of Osiris, so we’ve got your back. For more on the Lost Prophecies quests, check out guide for that.

How to Get Fossilized Hermaion Blossom Destiny 2
Like engrams, Fossilized Hermaion Blossom is not a guaranteed drop. However, the ways of getting one in Destiny 2 gives you solid chances of finding one, but from our experience, you only get one dropped each time. To have a chance of receiving Fossilized Hermaion Blossom as a reward, play Trials of the Nine multiplayer, Heroic Strikes, and the weekly Nightfall.
Upon completion of any of those, you will have a chance to automatically receive the Fossilized Hermaion Blossom Destiny 2 offering item. Unfortunately, this means you will probably have to do a bit of grinding in order to get all seven that you will need in the coming weeks for Lost Prophecies. Because of this, we recommend getting your fireteam together to make the process a lot smoother.
As we mentioned above, Fossilized Hermaion Blossom is required for four of the 11 Lost Prophecies. These are the four weapons:
- Infinite Paths (Pulse Rifle)
- Null Calamity 9 (Auto Rifle)
- Traveler’s Judgement (Sidearm)
- West of Sunfall (Hand Cannon)
