All three of the monsters that fight in each battle (not including those waiting on the bench) will receive one percent of CAM each fight.
This means that having a Digimon participate in 100 battles will raise its CAM in Hacker’s Memory to the max. That seems like a lot, but if they’re one of your favorites, you’ll reach 100 in no time. What if they aren’t your favorite, or their level isn’t high enough yet to fight with you? Well, thankfully, there’s other ways to raise CAM outside of battle.
The other method for raising CAM in Hacker’s Memory is by using items. You can purchase different types of Digimeat from the store and use it in your farm. Simply set the Digimon into a farm slot, go to them there, and feed them the meat. Each piece of meat has varying strength and potential to fail, so patience (and money) is needed.
Lastly, you will occasionally receive the Friendship DX item from side quests and chests. This item automatically raises any Digimon’s CAM by 25 instantly without any chance of failure. It is your quickest option, but it does come far less often than the others mentioned above.
