When you first start Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, you will be faced with the monumental decision of selecting which of the three little monsters you want to be your first partner. This is a critical moment that defines the first part of your journey and even the rest of the game.
As such, it can be a tough decision. You’re here most likely for a few reasons: you want to know how to get Golemon, what his abilities and stats are, or what his Digimon evolution line is like. Thankfully, we’ve poured dozens of hours into Hacker’s Memory and have the all the info you need no matter the reason why you’re here, so let’s get started.
How to Get the Golemon Champion Digimon
For those of you looking to capture Golemon, there are a few ways to do it. The simplest way is by selecting Gotsumon as your first rookie Digimon. It evolves into Golemon at level 14 if it has a max HP of 150 and a defense of 60. Otherwise, you can get this Digimon by evolving an Armadillomon or Solarmon.
Digimon Hacker’s Memory: Golemon’s Skills and Stats Explained
Now, for those of you that have a Golemon or are looking into getting one, let’s dive deep into his stats and starting abilities. For starters, Golemon is a Virus and Earth type Digimon.
Stats
Golemon is a beefy Digimon that specializes in high health, moderately high attack, and high defense. This makes him a powerhouse when it comes to giving and taking damage, but slow in movements.
Skills
Golemon has two main skills you want to focus on: Crimson Curse and Ironclad Defense. Crimson Curse is his special move that does 45 fire damage to all foes. While this shouldn’t be your main attack for Golemon, it is one of the more powerful AOE skills at the early stages of the game. Ironclad Defense is his passive ability that increases his defense by 15%. This is what helps him be able to withstand major hits.
Digimon Hacker’s Memory: Golemon Evolution Line
Looking ahead, Golemon has a limited but one particularly great evolution line that is new to Hacker’s Memory. This Champion Digimon can evolve into one of three forms: Meteormon, Pumpkinmon, and the new evolution of Volcanomon. While the other two are alright, we recommend evolving Golemon into the new Volcanomon for one of the best evolution lines of all three starters. Just make sure you have at least 20 ABI for the next evolution after Volcanomon.
