USING THE GUIDE Within this Game Guide, each new section for the Walkthrough will be spaced out. For example, "Agrabah" will be written as "A g r a b a h". You will be able to skip all the stuff in between and head straight for this section if you do the following. INTERNET EXPLORER / MOZILLA FIREFOX USERS = Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. = Select 'Find, or simply hold Ctrl, then hit the F Key. = Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having difficulties with, then select 'Find'. NETSCAPE USERS = Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. = Select 'Find in This Page', or simply hit Ctrl, then the F Key. = Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having difficulties with, then select 'Find'. With the amount of e-mails I've been receiving regarding the same issue, an enormous amount of improvements were made to several sections of this guide. These changes were made to assist people with these problems in much better coverage. I've removed several references to treasure chests throughout the guide and placed them all within the Treasure Chest section, instead of the Walkthrough. If you are looking to read information in a particular section in this Game Guide, such as "Agrabah", type "A g r a b a h" in the search parameters and select 'Find Next'. If the name of the location consists of more than one word, add each of the spaces between the letters as usual, and then add three spaces between each word. This is much less confusing than it sounds. Remember, because of the game mechanics in Kingdom Hearts 2, there may be a few occasions where you will be visiting the same place more than once. For example, when returning to the Olympus Coliseum for the second time, you'll type "O l y m p u s C o l i s e u m", and then press 'Find' twice, rather than once. - - - III. WALKTHROUGH Start Kingdom Hearts II by selecting 'New Game'. You will then be prompted to select a mode of difficulty. Selecting one mode over another increases the difficulty of enemy encounters. There are two gauges you need to take note of in this battle. First is the health gauge, which displays your current health. This battle is over when you run out of health. The blue gauge displays your current Magic Power (MP). Magic abilities can display one of two different colors. When it's displayed in white, it will consume a patial amount of your magic power. When the ability is displayed in orange, it will consume all of your magic power. Another returning feature is the Lock-On command. This is used by pressing the R1 Button. This command will be used to locate your target and display remaining health information. After this battle has begun, start attacking Seifer. Seifer will use two main attacks on you. He will either strike you with an aerial attack, or several consecutive attacks. Seifer's aerial attack will cause quite a bit of damage, but can easily be avoided. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Seifer, you'll arrive in the woods. Chase the Dusk into the Old Mansion. It's a command that is activated by pressing the triangle button. Use this command every time you see a triangle-shaped prompt appear on the enemy, or above the command bar. If you can manage to get a lock on the pink box, it shouldn't be much of a problem, otherwise just keep your eye on the box. Once they boxes begin to slow down, approach the correct box. Equip Explosion, then attack it until you break the box. With Explosion equipped, if you are anywhere near the correct box, you can easily clear this mini-game. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O MY SCORE: 35 / Challenge #2: Light Cycle / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O You'll see various on-screen commands prompting you to press the L1 and R1 buttons. The first mini-game prompts you to defeat at least five Heartless. You'll also need to avoid crashing into walls by pushing L1 and R1, stated above. The second challenge requires survival. You need to enter the crack that's located on the wall directly ahead. If only it were that easy. Just before you come towards the crack in the wall, you will have to shift to the left and continue through the maze, battling several Heartlles on your way. The challenge will be complete once you escape the game grid. Use Charge to destroy a group of Heartless on one side of you, attack when you see only one Heartless to eliminate, and Guard when the Heartless have begun to close in on you. Turn corners sharply and use the pillars to your advantage to avoid swarms of Heartless. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O / Challenge #3: Security Monitor / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O You'll need to defeat the Heartless quickly and collect the clusters. Your gauge in the upper left-hand corner will momentarily max out. At this time, you're given less than two minutes to use the "Freeze" Reaction command on each console. Return to eliminating the Heartless, collect the orbs, and then approach a second monitor. Repeat this process until all monitors have been destroyed. The timer won't stop, so you need to complete this challenge quickly. Once all monitors have been disabled, this challenge will be complete. You may want to equip Explosion and Comet in this battle. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Exit the Dataspace and cross over to the wall on the other end. Once you've reached the platform on your right, continue to the I/O Tower. Proceed into the large room on the right, then enter the Communications Room to initiate a cutscene. Open the two large treasure chests behind the dark pillar to receive an I/O Tower Map and Gaia Belt. Return to the hallway to initiate a cutscene. This begins a battle against the Hostile Program. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 640 / Boss-Battle: Hostile Program / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O The Hostile Program is quite simple. Collect the clusters which drop until you have maxed out the gauge, then cast the "Freeze" Reaction command. The Hostile Program will then stop momentarily. Switch into your Drive Form and begin unleashing your strongest attacks. A simple strategy would be to use your "Setup" Limit command, as the Hostile Program is quite weak against this attack. Keep an eye on the large clusters that the Hostile Program towards you. It will either collide into you, or rapidly fire several lasers at you. These can easily be avoided, but may outnumber you. Once the Hostile Program has taken enough damage, it will begin to charge around the room several times, so quickly run to the center. It's second attack is similar to a laser pointer, emitting from it's hands. This attack is slow, but you will need to avoid them. A second occasion is when the Hostile Program sends these beams swarming all over the palce. It can be tricky to avoid, so watch the patterb carefully. If they begin spinning around the room, you need to jump. If they begin to move in a vertical motion, wait until you are able to pass underneath them and get out of it's path. When they start spinning around the room quickly, you might see it as a nightmare to avoid it, but watch the pattern, as you will eventually get the hang of it. Because this battle requires to collect orbs, equip Explosion. This easily increases the amount of orbs that drop. After a couple cutscenes, you will arrive in the Postern. After you exit to the Restoration Site, defeat the Nobodies to initiate a cutscene. Once you arrive at the Bailey, proceed to the area directly ahead. You will then encounter Demyx. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1005 / Boss-Battle: Demyx / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O ** Equip Comet, Explosion, and Slide Dash ** You are given 40 seconds at the beginning of this battle to defeat all the Demyx Forms. This means you will need to defeat one or two Demyx Forms one second apart. This does not give you a whole lot of time to defeat each of the Demyx Forms. Keep in mind, you can't perform the Wild Dance unless you attack them. While casting Donald's Comet, strike as many Demyx Forms as possible. Have Explosion equipped to boost effect. Once Donald's Comet has passed, you'll need to begin using your "Wild Dance" Reaction command to eliminate all of the remaining Demyx Forms. Unlike the Underworld, the battle will not be over after you have defeated the Demyx Forms. Once the Demyx Forms have been defeated, you will need to begin attack Demyx directly. However, Demyx can seem rather impossible, as his chain of attacks will not allow you to get anywhere near him. His most often used attack prompts several water columns to bust behind, or around Demyx. The attack is quite easy to avoid, but that is only when you keep your distance. That's not what you want to do in this battle. Save your Comet ability until Demyx either says "Water", or begins to rush around the area, creating several water columns to emerge behind or around him. This will interrupt his rampage, allowing you to get underneath Demyx. Your best chance to avoiding Demyx's chain of attacks is to run around the area in a giant circle while Demyx begins his rampage of water columns and deadly bubbles. This will avoid about 80% of Demyx's attacks. Once you reach Demyx, charge towards him at a distance, then finish with a couple combos. If he manages to counter with a series of consecutive blows, or several water columns, press the O button and back away. Eventually, he will begin to move slowly in your direction, with several columns of water emerging directly in front of him. Move away from Demyx, but don't let him corner you. You'll want to rely on using the O button each time Demyx manages to sweep you off your feet. If he happens to be close to you when this happens, you can press the O button, then quickly move behind him to counter Demyx. It is extremely important that you use the O button to regain your balance when Demyx knocks you off your feet. This prevents unnecessary problems. Here's a second tactic you could rely on. Cast Donald's Comet, and then go into Valor or Master Form. At that point, alternate between attacking, and casting Comet. At some point, Demyx will call on the Demyx Forms to attack. At that point, you'll have only ten seconds to quickly eliminate all ten Demyx Forms. The Explosion ability can make this a lot easier. You must be on the ball each moment you hear Demyx say, "Dance water, dance!". There's the odd occasion where Demyx runs at you and hits you with several consecutive blows. Avoid this by using the "Show Stealer" Reaciton command. If you cannot get near Demyx, back off and hit him with Thunder. Do not at any point during this battle use your Summon command. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | REACTION COMMANDS | | | | Wild Dance, Show Stealer | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After the battle, you will be battling several Heartless alone. It's not too difficult, it's just time consuming. This battle will require you to defeat the Heartless alone, but your Reaction commands will do most of the work. Keep your eye on the Reaction commands, then use Rising Sun and Snag / Sparkle Ray each time they become available. Explosion should help when the Reaction commanda aren't available. If you are having difficulties with this battle, you are probably under levelled, which means you are not ready to do this challenge yet. As for attacks, the Organization member will perform several attacks which either begin with a charge and thrust, or several consecutive attacks. The man in black will cast you into the air several times, so you will need to regain your balance, pressing the O button each time this happens. Each of the Rapid Thrusters above will also have some part in this battle that can be rather annoying. Throw them away with the "Speed Trap" Reaction command. At the point, switch into Drive Mode, then quickly begin attacking the Storm Ride. After it becomes airborne once again, revert out of Drive Mode. After you fall off the Storm Rider, and it will happen, locate the gust of wind nearby and use your Reaction commands to get back on top of the Storm Rider. Time to discuss the Storm Rider's attacks. First, the Storm Rider will escape to a distance and begin shooting a slew of energy balls. If this happens you will need to begin running around the perimeter. It's second attack will cause the Storm Rider to begin dropping bombs. You aren't given too much time, so you need to quickly place your back against the nearest wall, or use a nearby gust of wind to move out of it's path. It's third attack begins when the Storm Rider lands on the bridge, it will allow you to strike the Storm Rider quite a bit, but you'll need to remain close to it, and out of it's line of sight, otherwise you will be hit with a massive energy attack. It's fourth attack is prompted when the Storm Rider begins a slow approach in your direction. At this time, it will be at a very low altitude, but it will be high enough so you can't jump over top. This leaves you with using a Reaction command. Stand so you're directly in front of it and wait until it approaches. Once it is close enough, press the "Slide" Reaction command, then perform the "Vertigo Toss" Reaction command. This will perform a very powerful counter-attack. It's fifth attack is prompted when the Storm Rider soars into the air. The area around you will begin to glitter, so either cast Reflect, or move out of the way. One last note, while on top of the Storm Rider, if it prompts you to "Hang On", you need to use the Reaction command. Sora will automatically release his grip on the Storm Rider once you're safe, because the Storm Rider will occasionally perform a second aerial maneuver to make you fall off. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1155 / Boss-Battle: Xaldin / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O ** Equip Aerial Abilities and Donald's Comet ** Xaldin is quite a bit tougher than Demyx, but he can be defeated. You will not have much room to battle Xaldin, as you're battling on a small surface, so your attempts to keep your distance will not work. Even retreating will not work, as Xaldin can and will teleport. When you see the "Learn" Reaction command, press it rapidly, as many times as possible. This is a major advantage to defeating Xaldin, as he will not allow you to attack him throughout several moments of the battle. Once the "Learn" command disappears, a "Jump" command appears in the command window. Lock onto Xaldin, and then select the "Jump" command to perform a powerful attack. Refrain from casting Donald's Comet unless you either have plenty of magic restoration items, or know what you're doing, because Xaldin will sap your health like it was nothing. Plus it will have him airborne, which you will not want. Remember to press the O Button when Xaldin strikes you off your feet. This is necessary because you will not want Xaldin scoring too many consecutive blows on you. Now to discuss Xaldin's attacks. First, Xaldin will create several energy bombs that will be sent into your direction. These are homing missiles, so you need to keep moving until the energy bombs disperse. Second, Xaldin will become airborne and unreachable. This will prompt five spears to drop from above before Xaldin drops to the ground. Once you have seen the fifth spear, begin moving and don't stop until you can begin your attacks on Xaldin once again. Third, Xaldin begins a series of deadly combo attacks, remvoing about half your health bar. There isn't much you can do to avoid this, aside from the "Jump" command, or Donald's Comet. If they're not avaiable, spam the Guard command. Keep your distance if you see a green aura around Xaldin. Xaldin's next attack is prompted when he says, "Wind of despair!". It will transform Xaldin's spear into a dragon, thus sending a deadly gust of wind in your direction. You should be on the other side of the bridge once this happens, otherwise you lose about half your health bar from the attack. Fortunately, King Mickey will briefly take your place, should you not give up when it prompts you to make a choice. This will allow you to score some extra hits on Xaldin. King Mickey will resurrect Sora once your health bar runs out. Do not bother with your Drive commands unless you see enough of an opening to do so. You could use Master Form at the beginning, but after Xaldin has begun his "Wind of Despair" attack, don't even bother. If you run out of mana, you can collect MP Balls dropped by the Grim Reaper, every time you attack it while it's invulnerable. You may also cast Donald's Comet, as it does not require an entire mana bar. Casting Comet will cause the Grim Reaper to drop enough MP Balls to completely replenish your mana bar. At certain times, the "Hinder" Reaction command may appear, allowing you to deliver a critical, medallion stealing blow. This will usually happen after the Grim Reaper begins stealing the medallions. Continue attacking the Grim Reaper until you've collected each medallion it holds. Once you have collected enough medallions, approach the chest in the center and press the Reaction command to replenish it. Once enough medallions have been placed into the chest, you will be able to momentarily attack the Grim Reaper, so switch into Master Form, then hit it with everything you've got. The Grim Reaper will frequently spin wildly around the area. This can cause problems when attempting to collect the medallions, because the Grim Reaper will collect the loose medallions, and should you get close enough, it will throw you into the air, so you will need to counter with the O button, then begin recollecting the medallions. It's next attack will cause the Grim Reaper to completely detach itself and begin wildly stomping around the area. A | | very powerful series of attacks, ending in several shockwaves. He will | | then start rampaging the area almost non-stop, only breaking for a few | | moments in between. Use the Beserk command to avoid him. You'll need to | | defeat SaíƒÂ¯x with a combo finish. | | | | Make sure you keep yourself healed, as SaíƒÂ¯x will easily finish you off | | if you're low on health. | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Return to the Proof of Existence, then continue through the central passage at the top of the stairs. Once Riku joins your party, continue up the ramp and into Ruin and Creation's Passage. Within this area, you must create the path. Once you reach the first platform, open the treasure chest to receive a Mythril Stone. Create the path to the second platform and open the nearby chest to receive a Mythril Crystal. Create the path to the third platform and open the chest to receive an Orichalcum. Continue through the door ahead, then continue up the stairs to encounter Xemnas. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1500 PART ONE / Final Boss: Xemnas / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | Xemnas will trap you in a dark ball of energy, which will be surrounded | | by three crystals. This will gradually sap the life out of you. Head up | | to the building straight ahead and perform several Reaction commands to | | knock the crap out of Xemnas. | | | | Xemnas will eventually approach the ledge in the distance. Once you get | | close to him, he will shield your attacks with protective barrier. This | | means you need to get up really close to him, then attack Xemnas inside | | his barrier. | | | | He'll then pull out two lightsabers and go Star Wars on your butt. Your | | friends won't be here to help you, so you will be battling Xemnas alone, | | and that means no Summon or Drive commands. If you happen to get low on | | health, head far away from Xemnas and heal, because he won't follow you. | | His first form is actually quite simple. | | | | Remember, when you don't see him, it means he'll most likely be atop of | | the tower. Approach the building and use the Reaction commands. | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Once you have defeated Xemnas, access the Save Point, and then proceed into Kingdom Hearts. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1000 PART TWO / Final Boss: Xemnas / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | At the beginning of the battle, you will see a series of building start | | to approach. Quickly press the triangle button once it has prompted you | | to perform the Slicer command. Enter into the next and and approach the | | platform to be taken above. Press the Reaction commands once it prompts | | to do so. This should bring you to the core. | | | | Knock all the Nobodies into the core, but press the Reaction command as | | soon as the energy core has fully charged to perform a Stunt Dodge. The | | core will then release a massive amount of energy. After both cylinders | | have been destroyed, you will arrive at the energy core. | | | | Attack door to the reactor until the barrier appears. After the barrier | | comes up, defeat the enemies to release the barrier. At that point, the | | barrier should be down allowing you to resume attacking the door. Rinse | | and repeat until you've destroyed the reactor. | | | | Once you've reached Xemnas, begin attacking him. Heal once he has dealt | | his Cleave attack, and use your Final Drive command. This will wash his | | health away like nothing. You should now be down to about two bars. Use | | Sora / Riku's Limit command. By now, Xemnas should be down on his final | | health bar. Strike at Xemnas while destroying the enemies. | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1200 / 1500 PART THREE / Final Boss: Xemnas / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | This is certainly one of the much harder battles. Use the O Button when | | Xemnas fires a laser at you to drain the attack. Using the Button can | | bring down enemies in the distance, while the X Button attacks normally. | | | | Continue navigating the ship to avoid incoming attacks, while following | | the strategy above to absorb damage and destroy incoming enemies. | | | | After Xemnas flies over top of you, avoid the several incoming missiles | | by moving out of the way. | | | | Once your energy cannon is ready, press the Reaction command to unleash | | a massive beam of energy. This should deal significant damage. You have | | one shot at this, and cannot heal in this battle. | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1000 PART FOUR / Final Boss: Xemnas / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | This region is enormous, but you can escape to safe zones. This can be | | done by pressing the O Button to jump continuously, and to Glide. If | | you run low on health, escape and Heal. | | | | Remember to use Sora / Riku's Limit command. Xemnas will use Cleave an | | awful lot, so don't let your health fall too low. | | | | Xemnas will eventually start throwing buildings at you. Go after one of | | the buildings that aren't being thrown at you, then perform a Reaction | | command to send them back towards Xemnas. The platform eventually comes | | to the point where it's almost impossible to remain on it for very long. | | There' not much you can do about this but watch your step and heal when | | needed. | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 1500 FINAL FORM / Final Boss: Xemnas / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | It comes down to one final battle with Xemnas. He'll start this battle | | with a powerful chain of attacks that goes on quite a while. Press the | | Reaction button rapidly to avoid each of these attacks. Once you reach | | the bottom, you might want to consider casting Heal. | | | | Use the Limit commands as they become available, and give Xemnas every | | last ounce of strength you have. | | | | Xemnas attacks pretty hard in this form. Forunately, he doesn't have a | | whole lot of armor, making damage dealt a whole lot more. He teleports | | quite a bit, so running away isn't much of an option. You will need to | | use Magic and Limit commands wisely. | | | | At one point, Xemnas will fly around sending several red lasers at you. | | This doesn't cause too much damage, but can get annoying. Either Guard | | it, or jump into the air when Xemnas yells, "Fire!". Xemnas eventually | | catches Sora in a bubble of energy. Controls will now switch to Riku. | | | | The next stage of this battle, Xemnas will send a ripple effect at you | | and then escape through a dark portal. You will need to use Reveral to | | land any strikes on Xemnas. | | | | You need to quickly rush at Xemnas, but Xemnas can make this difficult | | by creating several barrier to block you. If you die, you will restart | | only this stage of the battle. Xemnas will make one final attack after | | you've depleted his health. Push the Reaction command rapidly. This is | | going to deflect almost every laser. This isn't all you need to do, as | | you will also need to push the X Button, O Button, and Triangle Button | | repeatedly to avoid these attacks. | | | | After the cutscene, attack Xemnas one last time. Make it a Limit, just | | to release your rage on Xemnas. After you have defeated Xemnas, you've | | beaten Kingdom Hearts II. | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O IV. You won't be able to see this until you have access to the Old Mansion as Sora. Synthesizing the Ultima Weapon requires: 13 Orichalcum(+) Refer to Orichalcum(+) section of Game Guide. 1 Twilight Crystal Dropped off of Sorcerers 1 Energy Crystal Dropped off of Bookmasters and Shamans. 1 Dense Crystal Dropped off of Berserkers 1 Orichalcum Refer to Treasure Chest section of Game Guide. 1 Mythril Crystal Refer to Treasure Chest section of Game Guide. Once your Synthesis Level is high enough, use an Energy Crystal to cut the amount of Orichalcum(+) by half, bringing the amount of Orichalcum(+) that is needed to complete the recipe down to seven. Swat each beehive and jar of honey to earn points, while performing a Reaction command on the gusts of wind to magnetize all nearby beehives, thus destroying them. This is absolutely necessary in completing Jiminy's objective. Each time you are struck by an oncoming object, you need to rescue Pooh by approaching him and pressing the Reaction command. After you've cleared the area below, you will be taken above to tackle the trees and honey jars. The trees can take several hits to destroy, and will require top priority, as they take up most of the screen. Fortunately, you won't be up there very long. In the final area, you'll be encountering trees, beehives, honey jars, and gusts of wind that will be moving. This will make it trickier to eliminate all the destructibles nearby. Your score needs to be almost perfect, so if you are missing quite a few objects, you'll want to restart this mini-game. Remember, each time you are hit by an obstacle, you will need to approach Pooh, then press the Reaction command, otherwise you cannot collect the yellow orbs. Whenever you approach Gopher, a Reaction command will appear. This will be your lifeline, used to protect Pooh when you run into an obstacle. He will disappear once you run into an obstacle, until you see him later on in the mini-game. This mini-game is much easier and funner than A Blustery Rescue. Hold down the Button when you need to quickly reach Pooh, or escape from a rather tight situation. Falling results in a lost attempt, so it helps to know the destination of your jump. You only get three attempts to score as many points as possible. Balloons will earn you a different amount of points, depending on how long you can remain in the air, and your current altitude. If you make it up to the top, pop the large yellow balloon to earn several points, and spawn an enormous amount of red balloons below. The red balloons can be quite difficult to land on, but are worth the most points. Oh, and you'll be given three minutes to complete this mini-game. Though there are no Heartless in the Spooky Cave, you'll need to swat away each group of bees that approach. Press the "Forward, March!" and "Company, Halt!" Reaction command to inform the group to continue moving, or stay in place. Watch out for falling debris, bees, slippery ice, and the Courage Gauge at the upper right-hand corner of your screen. When you approach slippery ice, walk slowly. The Courage Gauge will deplete slowly, and once it's depleted, your friends will become panicked. This can be resolved simply by pressing the "Settle Down!" Reaction command. A: Please send all requests to Undernet01@Shaw.ca. Q: Can I add my own information to this Game Guide? A: Yes, but I cannot accept anything except corrections for the Walkthrough. Q: What is a "Player High-Score"? A: Next to each of the Coliseum Tournament sections I've placed a high-score window designed for players to compete against each other and earn their name on the High-Scores list. It's a challenge that will only last until May 1st, 2006. There's a catch, you will need proof. It takes a bit of effort to do this, and unfortunately, I do not have the answers. Send submissions to Undernet01@Shaw.ca and I will post the winners around May 1st, 2006. Q: Is this a Game Guide for the American or Japanese version? A: American version. Q: Who are you? A: I'm an actor-in-training and a Game Guide writer. Visit my MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/aaron_busch to see a little bit about me. IX.
