Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This

Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This: How to Get the Wiggler Head Helmet

The latest event quest to be added to the game is the most bizarre one yet. Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This is a brand new limited-time event quest that grants the exclusive Wiggler Head Helmet as a reward. This helmet, as the name certainly implies, transforms your character’s head into that of a stuffed toy-like Wiggler.

If for some odd reason you want the Wiggler Head Helmet as a reward, you’ll want to complete the Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This quest as soon as possible, because it’s only available for a limited time. Thankfully, we’ve got all the info you need on the quest including how long it will be available.

You can get the Wiggler Head Helmet only from completing the Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This event quest. You can start it, like all the other event quests, by going to the handy-dandy Quest Board and looking for it on the events page. It is a level six in terms of difficulty, so you must be Hunter Rank 11 or higher to accept it.

The Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This quest tasks you with capturing 10 Wigglers in the Coral Highlands. It is a simple enough task that can be completed fairly easily. If you need some help on capturing monsters, check out this guide.

Upon completion, you will receive a Wiggler Ticket. Three Wiggler Tickets are required in order to craft the Wiggler Head Helmet from the Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This quest. This means you’ll most likely have to run this quest at least three times.

Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This: Where to Find Wigglers in Monster Hunter World

Monster Hunter World wiggle me this

You’ve probably seen plenty of Wigglers on your travels before, but they’re barely relevant outside of this quest, meaning plenty of us will have seen these things retreat back into the dirt and never really given much thought as to what they are. Wigglers emerge from the ground in groups and do little but wiggle on the spot. Watching them dance slightly can be fun, but attempting to catch one is a whole other story. These wiggly folk are proximity-based, meaning they react to nearby threats by burrowing back underground.

You can’t just walk up to these things and expect to grab one. Instead, you’ll need to equip your Capture Net and couch toward them. They’ll still retreat if you get too close, but you should be able to get close enough to fire your Capture Net. Aim with your left trigger and fire when the crosshair turns red and you should get one. Aim at a cluster of Wigglers, and you’ll speed things along by getting multiple in one go. Running on some kind of hive mind means one capture on each group is all you get, as the rest will retreat when one of their friends is bagged.

Attempting to capture multiple in one swing of the Capture Net is the best way to speed this quest along, but doing so requires a bit of know-how. While Wigglers retreat as you get close, the rest of the pack will stay. It’s being on eye-level that they like. The speed of movement doesn’t matter so long as you’re not towering above them. Push through separated Wigglers by crouching and look for some that are closer together for the best results. They’ll all retreat right after, but you can simply fly back to a camp to have them all respawn.

The best route for this entire mission is to start at the camp in Area 1. You’ll find 3-4 different Wiggler packs in this area alone, meaning it’s entirely possible to complete this mission without ever leaving Area 1. The connection between Area 1 and Area 3 has a pack, too, to hit this one up before flying back to Camp.
