Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Patch Notes: Multiplayer
Infected (New Game Mode)
- At the start of a match, one player is randomly chosen as the first infected whose goal is to infect the other players. Once downed, players respawn as infected, slowly increasing the size of the horde. Infect all players, or survive until time runs out to win.
Redwood Snow (New Map)
- Enter the snowcapped landscape of Redwood Snow to experience something colder from the map you know and love.
For those of you have been experiencing Europe’s Beast from the East, you may not be too keen to jump straight back into the powdered slopes of Redwood Snow just yet. For the rest of us hardy souls, it’s a chance to go all-guns-blazing into a different version of what is one of the series’ most underrated maps.
Infected, however, is the real story here. Fans of everything from Timesplitters 2 to Halo 3 will rejoice at the news that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is getting an Infected mode. That excitement will increase tenfold when you realize, yes, you can use jetpacks and yes that is as amazing as it sounds.
