PUBG 1.0 Release Time: When is PUBG 1.0 Coming to Xbox One?

PUBG 1.0 for Xbox One is almost upon us. Before we get there, though, we have a massive chunk of maintenance and downtime to suffer through. Once that’s out the way, however, we’ve got plenty to get excited about. So, when’s it coming? Here’s the PUBG 1.0 release time, including any and all downtime scheduled for September 3.

PUBG 1.0 Release Time: When is PUBG 1.0 Coming to Xbox One?

Depending on your timezone, the PUBG 1.0 release time will either take place on September 3 or September 4. That’s because PUBG Corp has instigated a whopping 16-hour downtime to get everything shipshape for the battle royale’s grand release. Once that’s out of the way, you’ll be free to boot up PUBG and play the full release to your heart’s content. Be mindful of extra downtime, though, should things go awry.

According to the PUBG forum announcementPUBG 1.0 should go live from 5:00 p.m. Pacific/8:00 p.m. Eastern on September 3, which means it sneaks into the early hours of September 4 in the UK. They can expect it at a sleep-inducing 1:00 a.m. BST.

PUBG 1.0 Release Time: Can I Play During Downtime?

While you can’t play the traditional PUBG game during maintenance and downtime, you can play on the PUBG Public Test Servers (PTS) at anytime without fear of interruption. However, the PTS will only have the North American servers open, while some modes will be “restricted”, such as Duos and Squads. Once the maintenance period is down, the PTS will be packed away for the time being. Still, if you want your pre-PUBG 1.0 fix on Xbox One, this is the only way to get it.

What’s Included in PUBG 1.0?

Heralding in a full release for the battle royale, PUBG 1.0 not only includes a third map in Sanhok, but also the deathmatch-inspired War Mode, Xbox One achievements, and the introduction of the PUBG G-Coin, the game’s new currency than can only be bought using real-world funds.
