The Shattered Throne is a Destiny 2 mission that has just appeared. This hidden quest allows you to enter Queen Mara Sov’s Throne World and gives players a meaty PvE dungeon to complete. Below we’ll show you how to access The Shattered Throne and what rewards you get for completing it.
How to Start The Shattered Throne in Destiny 2
Before you can access The Shattered Throne dungeon, you’ll need to complete the Destiny 2 Forsaken campaign and gain access to The Dreaming City. Inside of The Dreaming City are three Taken Portals that have appeared since The Last Wish raid was first completed. While all of them lead to The Confluence, the one you want is located in the Rheasilvia region of The Last City.
To get to Rheasilvia, you need to head north. In the northeastern part of the region, you’ll find the entrance to a temple. Follow the passage all the way back until you enter a roughly circular area. In the northwestern part of this area, if you look closely, you’ll find a Taken portal. Enter it, and you’ll be whisked away to The Confluence.
Once in The Confluence, you’ll need to go to the Blind Well. Below it you’ll find a prompt to start The Shattered Throne quest.
Destiny 2 Shattered Throne Recommended Power
The recommended power for The Shattered Throne is 570. However, the last boss is at level 590, so even those at 570 may have some issues completing the dungeon.
How to Beat The Shattered Throne in Destiny 2
In the first section of the dungeon, you need to kill all the elite enemies in the Labyrinth. As you kill them, you’ll find that a symbol will pop up near the main plate. Using these symbols, you’ll then need to find the corresponding plate. There will be a boss nearby you can defeat when you find the right plate. Rinse and repeat until you’re able to move to the second section.
