Black Ops 4 Update 1.03 Patch Notes – PC Crashing, Shield Cost Reduction

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is now available, and while there are definitely some problems still remaining with the game Activision, Treyarch, Beenox, and all the other teams behind Black Ops 4 working on fixing them. We’ve covered the 1.02 Update to the game, now it’s time for the Black Ops 4 Update 1.03 Patch Notes and all the fixes now available.

Black Ops 4 Update 1.03 Patch Notes – Fixes

Generally speaking Black Ops 4 Update 1.03, otherwise known as the “Launch Weekend Community Update for October 14,” is mostly filled with stability, balance and crash fixes across all modes and platforms. Zombies mode has received balance adjustments to Tigers, Hellhounds, the Hellfire weapon, and the rate in which players earn points. The cost of shield repair and replacement has been reduced, and player health in Classic mode has been increased by 50 points.

In Multiplayer, unlock requirements for the active camo on Signature Weapons in Create-A-Class have been changed, and Mastercraft camos can now be properly unlocked. In Blackout, players can now unlock Ajax without any issues, and the PC version has a Blackout fix for Trauma Kits occasionally not working, which isn’t something you want to experience. Other than these things, quite a light update. You can read the full list of patch notes here.

What Features are Coming in the Next Black Ops 4 Update?

The most notable thing that’s coming across the next updates are fixes for PC crashes, such as the Negative 345 Sky Wolf error. The Black Ops 4 PC team at Beenox are apparently “working to identify and fix these as they come up” and request that if you experience a crash with a specific error you should report it as soon as you can, and be as descriptive as you can.

Other than that, there are issues with map spawns across various modes, and the team are looking to fix temporary losses in various stats, which should be available soon by the sounds of it. Finally, the developer has noted how certain camos can cover up a weapon’s Optics, which should be fixed by the next update.
